Sarah Beth Reno

Sarah Beth Reno is the chief operations officer for Carnival Cruise Line, promoted to the role in 2025. She oversees most guest-facing functions across Carnival’s global fleet of 29 ships, including hotel operations, guest services, entertainment, food and beverage, security and port operations. She joined Carnival in 2014 as vice president of entertainment, where she led the transformation of onboard experiences. In 2019, she was promoted to vice president of guest operations, and then to senior vice president in 2022.

Prior to joining Carnival, Sarah spent 19 years at Onboard Media, a LVMH company and a leading provider of integrated media solutions to the global cruise and travel industries, including her last three years as president. She began her career working on cruise ships as a youth coordinator, entertainment staff and assistant cruise director.

Sarah earned a bachelor’s of science degree in recreational management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
